Shooting the rapids
Experience 45 minutes of sheer thrill as you and
your boatmates negotiate 6 sets of rapids to
Kuala Trenggan, up stream of Sungai Tembeling.
You must be prepared to get drenched! On the way back,
visit to
Orang Asli settlement.

Dinner at Resort/floating restaurant.

Introduction to Taman Negara through watching video
show and posters at the Interpretive Room. Thereafter,
night walk to Tahan Hide to
observe wildlife. Bring along a torch light.
11.00 pm
Sleeping time.
Day 3 ( 1B, 1L & 1D )
7.30 am
Breakfast at resort/ local restaurant.
8.30 am
Jungle trek to Teresek Hill (344M).From
the hilltop and in clear sky, you may be able to
see the peak of Gunung Tahan (2,187M), the highest
mountain in Peninsular Malaysia. On return trekking,
you are invited to challenge the
canopy walkway
which was installed above 30-50M from the ground.

Lunch at local restaurant.
4.30 pm
Boat ride to Lata Berkoh Cascades (waterfalls)
and enjoy the natural beauty of our rainforest along
the protected Sungai Tahan. Lata Berkoh is a great place
for picnic as it is surrounded by an inspiring natural
landscape. On the way, stop by at Kelah Fish Sanctuary.
You are free to feed the fishes & enjoy a swim together
with them!( Visiting the Sanctuary is subjected to permission from the local authority and river condition ).
7.30 pm
Dinner at Resort/local restaurant. Thereafter, you may carry out your own activities
such as shopping for souvenirs and go for a stroll around
Taman Negara Resort.
Day 4 ( 1B,1L )
7.30 am
Breakfast at resort/ local restaurant.
8.30 am
Breakfast. Thereafter, you may choose to carry out
your own activity such as trekking to Tabing Hide
( 3.1 KM ), enjoy a swim at Lubok Simpon (500M),or
you may choose to just relax and wake up late in the
morning !

Lunch at local restaurant & check out.
2.00 pm
Leaving Taman Negara by boat or by land ( van / taxi / bus )
4.30 pm
Arriving Kuala Tembeling Jetty. Transfer to Jerantut Town and check-in to a hotel
6.30 pm
Dinner ( on your own ) and familiarise yourself with
Jerantut Town.
Day 5 (By train)
1.04 am
Leaving Jerantut by train to Singapore. Proceed your journey home.
8.50 am
Arriving Tanjung Pagar Station, Singapore
Note: We may swap the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances or weather condition
Reminder: Please bring along torchlight,
cotton T-shirts, bermuda / loose shorts, swimming suits
/ trunks, sneakers / jogging shoes, insect repellent &
water bottle. For those who stay in chalets at Mutiara
Taman Negara, personal items such as towel
& toiletries are supplied. However, for those who stay
in HOSTELS at the Muitara or all other budget accommodation,
these personal items are NOTprovided ! As such, please bring them along!
